Last Minute Hand Casts

A beautiful hand model popped by the studio last night to have a cast. The resin positives are currently flying to Milan for their "fitting" and then to Amsterdam for their shoot. More will be revealed in the future!

N7 armour update, feat. the tools!

Tracing patterns onto the EVA, jigsaw to cut the huge sheets into manageable chunks, cutting them out with a scalpel attachment on our woodburning tool (a bit like a soldering iron), dremel for the grooves and bevelling edges, heat gun on max for shaping around a gum tape form we took of the commissioner.

Bees

Working on some bee costumes for a Friends if the Earth campaign. The body pattern is so cute! Muggins thinks theyre her mum. No milk in there Mugwump!!

Patterning N7 armor from Mass Effect

Got a sweet cosplay commission for some N7 armour from Mass Effect. Codpiece, haha. Lots of thanks to EvilFX for inspiration with his pioneering use of this particular texture of EVA foam. And lots of apologies to all of my friends and family who've put up with me banging on about foam densities all week.

Animal Party

We ran a chaotic kigurumi painting workshop at the Animal Party run by the Last Tuesday Society in the Old Vic Tunnels. We got paint everywhere. Sorry.
